We Value and Seek the Glory of God Above All Things in All of Life.
We believe that the church was brought into existence for one chief end: To glorify God and enjoy Him forever. This means that our fellowship is driven not by personal preference or convenience, rather it is driven by the aim to bring ultimate glory to our great God and King through joy-filled faith and trust in Him and in His word.

We Keep Christ and the Gospel Central.
We believe that the person of Christ and the gospel are the central storyline of the Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation. The Scriptures tell the message of God’s redemption of sinful humanity through the person and work of God’s sinless Son, Jesus Christ. Because we believe this to be true about Scripture, we believe Jesus and the gospel should be the point to all our ministries and efforts. Jesus is the point to everything; therefore, Him and His work are central in all we value and all we do.

We Are Directed by God’s Sufficient Word.
We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired word and contains all that we need for life and Godliness. Therefore, we value biblically formed and biblically driven ministries toward the glory of Christ. We value the expository preaching of the word of God book-by-book so that we can see Christ as the point to all the scriptures from Genesis to Revelation. We seek to make all that we do be biblically formed and biblical driven and this would include Lord’s Day Worship (Sunday Morning Worship), Bible studies, Men’s and Women’s gatherings, Sunday School, smaller fellowship gatherings and children’s church. We value this because we believe that the church is formed, sustained and shaped by Gods word. Therefore, we order the worship and ministry of our body by God’s satisfying and sufficient word.

We Are Prayerfully Dependent.
It is our conviction that one of the greatest benefits Christ grants to us through His life, death, resurrection, ascension and enthronement is the grace-giving instrument of prayer. Christ as our resurrected High Priest is constantly praying for us, and His word tells us that we are to continue steadfastly in prayer. Therefore, on Sunday mornings we prioritize praying before service, during corporate worship, during Wednesday night Bible study, when we meet in smaller fellowship groups and as we pray for one another individually.

We Cherish Corporate Worship.
Christ is committed to the strengthening and purifying of His church by his grace. We believe the main way (not the only way) that Christ does this is through the corporate gathering that happens at Lord’s Day worship (Sunday Morning). The preaching and reading of God’s word, prayer, singing, and the sacraments/ordinances are the biblical means by which Christ builds His church. Therefore, our gathering together for corporate worship is our greatest privilege and is the main way in which our Lord distributes His marvelous grace to us.

We Value Church Membership.
Union with Christ in salvation necessitates union with all of him, this includes his body, the church (Eph. 1:22-23; 1 Pet. 2:4-5). God’s word tells us that we as the body of Christ “are members of one another” (Eph. 4:25). We are not separate silos, rather Christ has made us into a resurrected, united and eternal new humanity. Therefore, we believe that church membership is a faithful way to belong to Christ and His church that He bled and died for. We desire for all Christians to be in vital connection with a local body of believers where they are known deeply by others and are both giving grace to others and receiving grace from others.

We Value the Biblical Complementarity of Men and Women Found in Scripture.
God crowned His creation by making mankind in His image, both male and female, for his glory. It was God’s idea to make mankind in His image, both male and female, not ours, and after making both Adam and Eve, God saw all that He had made and it “was very good”. Therefore, we value the glory of biblical manhood and biblical womanhood as it is presented by God in His word. We believe that God making Adam and Eve was to point to the reality of the eternal relationship between Christ the Last Adam and His forever bride, which is us the church. Therefore, the God given roles of men and women in marriage are given to men and women as privilege, to point to and exalt the eternal union between Christ and His church. Therefore, we seek to train up men who are Christ-exalting, gospel-centered and who lead and love in their homes, in the church and in the world; and we seek to train up women who will be a Christ-exalting gospel-centered loving support to their husbands and families, within the church and in the world.

We Value Family Worship in Our Homes.
Worship is a way of life for us who have been transferred from the Kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God’s beloved Son. Therefore, Monday through Sunday we seek to make our homes a place where worship happens. We value our homes being a place where we regularly read the scriptures, sing together, confess sin, pray with one another and continually see the grace of God to us in the gospel and inform our faith with the word of God.

We Support the Spread of the Gospel and the Glory of Jesus around the world.
Since Jesus Christ is worthy of all the world’s worship, when He unites us to Himself by faith, He also sends us out to spread the best news in the world: That through Christ, utterly sinful people (which is all of us) can be forgiven of all our sin, redeemed from sin and death, reconciled to God, and made not just better people, but made brand new creations who possess eternal life in Christ. This all comes from our gracious God and is the best news ever. This gospel is to be spread to the ends of the earth for the glory of Jesus. Therefore, we support missionary work around the world, both financially and in prayer. We consider this our glorious calling and privilege to do this until Christ returns.
